Week 21: 6/17/23-6/23/23: Bibi's Work

This week was not as productive as we had hoped. After getting the fingers to open and close, the wrist was able to move with little range of motion. The task was to get the wrist to move at the proper degree rotations. Unfortunately, the arm has been being tested with my laptop for the past couple of weeks, and not realizing that it was having an affect on my battery, it started to kill the battery slowly to the point where the computer would shut off and not turn back on.

The first time it turned off, it was thought to be a charging problem, but the laptop was connected to charger and it still did not turn on. It was then suggested to try removing the battery for a few minutes and placing it back afterwards. That worked and the laptop was able to turn on.

After getting the laptop to turn back on, testing continued with the wrist. But it was not long before the laptop died again would not come back up even with disconnecting the battery like before. After consulting with Daniel, we decide to include the voltage regulator, motor drivers, and battery for future testing to reduce the risk of draining the laptop's battery.
