High Level Requirements

Finger and Wrist Testing

The first testing that was done was testing the finger up and down movements, the ViBRA demonstrated excellent performance. The arm's fingers responded promptly to the user's gestures, accurately replicating the opening and closing of the hand.

Elbow Testing

The Vision-Based Robotic Arm (ViBRA) demonstrates successful elbow and wrist movements, allowing the arm to move up, down, left, and right in response to the user's gestures. Although the precision of these movements may not be 100% accurate to the user's actions, the arm remains functional and provides a reasonable level of responsiveness. The elbow and wrist rotations add valuable degrees of freedom to the arm's movements, enhancing its versatility for various tasks and showcasing significant progress in the development of the vision-based robotic arm. Further refinements and improvements can be pursued to enhance the precision of these movements in future iterations.

Low Level Requirements

Bluetooth and Battery Testing

The arm's Bluetooth communication was tested up to 34.5 ft. which exceeded the 10-foot range that was set in the requirements, enabling users to control the robotic arm effectively from a significant distance. the Mighty Max 12V 35Ah battery was subjected to rigorous testing over a period of 1 hour. During this time, the battery's voltage was continuously monitored to assess any potential voltage drop or degradation. Remarkably, the battery demonstrated exceptional stability and resilience, as no voltage loss was observed throughout the entire duration of testing.
